02-11-2022: The Committee has been discussing for some time the appriopriate heirs to the Counts of the Byzantine Empire, (alias Conte Vassallo-Paleologo or Conti dell’Impero Bizantino), 1320, 1349, 1380, 1405, 1455, 1487, 1623. A decision has become conclusive with agreement of the Board that the style of Conte/Contessa should be limited to the Vassallo-Paleologo, Cardona, Pace and Inguanez family members and the heirs male to male only. (which means almost extinct and to those handful members of the Vassallo-Paleologo’s in Palermo, Sicily). The Genealogies will in the coming days and weeks reflect and changes will be made to meet this agreement and limitation of style.

Maltagenealogy.com is downsizing to help everyone to be able to navigate through the pages. Many changes have occured where family trees were simplier now are in massive family trees being the focus point now. Just over 140 trees will feature the lineages of thousands of families and can clearly become publishable in the future.
