The Bonett family arrived with Pierre Bonett of France and married 1627 Valletta (Notary Ignazio Mifsud) to Maddalena Consiglio.  Maddalena Consiglio was the daughter of Mro Francesco Consiglio and Agatuccia de Provost, who was the illegitimate daughter of Fra Don Fabrizio Sforza dei Marchesi di Caravaggio and Grazia Provost. Grazia Provost was the daughter of Pierre Provost, whom married to Marie de Lusignan, and both were created Conte di Bellapais in 1585 by their cousin-in-law, Principe Masi d’Armenia, the pretender of the Throne of the Kingdom of Cyprus.

British nobleman, peer, and politician. He was the son of Charles Howard, 10th Duke of Norfolk, and Catherine Brockholes. He was known for actively participating in the Whig party as part of the opposition to King George III. He also spent a considerable amount of his money rebuilding and refurbishing Arundel Castle after inheriting his title and lands.

He married, firstly, Marion Coppinger (daughter of John Coppinger), on 1 August 1767, who died a year later giving birth. He married, secondly, Frances Scudamore (1750–1820), the only child of Charles FitzRoy-Scudamore and his wife Frances, formerly Duchess of Beaufort, on 6 April 1771 at London, England. Frances became insane soon after her marriage and was locked away until her death in 1820. Howard then lived with several mistresses. His longtime mistress, Mary Ann Gibbon (a cousin of Edward Gibbon), was reputed to be his secret third wife and she had five children by him, including two sons who were officers of arms, Matthew Howard-Gibbon, and Edward Howard-Gibbon. An older illegitimate son by a previous mistress, Sir William Woods, later became Garter King of Arms.

He was the elder son of Sir James Gray, 1st Baronet and his wife Hester Dodd. His younger brother was General George Gray. He completed his education at Clare College, Cambridge, being awarded M.A. in 1729. He then travelled on the continent. He died in 1773 leaving two illegitimate ‘natural’ children: A son James born 1759 and a daughter Catherine born 1761 in Naples. Their mother was a noblewoman named Donna Caterina Rosiglio, to whom he was not married at the time of their births. His baronetcy was inherited by his brother, who died the same year, upon which it became extinct.

In fact the Commissioners reported as follows:- Although this does not appear to have been expressly granted in the diplomas or Privilegia given in 1350 and in 1372, yet there are sufficient grounds for holding that at a later period that title was conferred or recognized, for Grand Master Manoel, on the 30th April 1725, issued a Prammatica or Ordinance, by which in order to remedy abuses and inconveniences, which had for some time prevailed in regard to titles, that Grand Master ordered and commanded that thenceforward no advocate, notary, or attuario should take upon himself to give in any instrument, contract, or other public act drawn up by him, the title of illustrissimo or of noblile to any of the prince’s vassals, with the exception of the Capitano della Verga pro tempore, of the two Magistrati of the cities of Valeltta and Notabile, and the Milite barone Marc’Antonio Inguanez our feudatory, and Baronessa Inguanez his wife, and their descendants. Other nobles who will be mentioned hereafter were subsequently excepted from the provisions of the above Prammatica. Barone Marco Antonio Inguanez is the ancestor of Maria Teresa Damico, the present Baronessa. By the foregoing legislative act he, as the holder of the two fiefs in question, and his descendants were recognized by the former Government as barons. Marc’ Antonio was moreover thirty-four times between the years 1705 and 1760, appointed Capitano della Verga, and always designated as Barone Inguanez. (See Report Paras. 91-96). Marc’Antonio Inguanez could not have been the ancestor of Maria Teresa Inguanez because he had died childless. also 10th Barone di Ortigos del Panades in Aragon.
