Was present in Egypt with the Maltese Pioneers, receiving the gold medal for the campaign. Appointed Lieutenant inthe Provincial battalion, July 1803., and in the Royal Regiment of Malta, April 14, 1805. Present at Diamante and made prisonerat Capri. Appointed Captain, Royal Malta Fencible Regiment, February 25, 1815. Retired on half pay, March 8, 1837, died April 18, 1855, aged 86 – The Maltese Corps of the British Army 1798-1895 by Major A.G.
